Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Checklist

    • All authors are required to create an account on myADADA.
    • Papers that do not comply with the specified format will be rejected automatically.
    • Manuscripts must be written in English and submitted in PDF format.
    • Papers accepted for the Journal Track will be published in the International Journal of Asia Digital Art and Design, while those accepted for the Conference Track will be published in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Asia Digital Art and Design.
    • Please note that if an author fails to attend the ADADA International Conference without prior notice despite having their paper accepted, both the presentation and the paper may be withdrawn.
    • Please refer to the following our aims-and-scope for the conference topics. Even if your subject is not explicitly listed, we strongly encourage you to submit your work if it contributes to the field of Asia Digital Art and Design.

Sections

  1. Conference Track Technical Paper

    - Conference Track  is organized into Technical Papers, Art Papers, Music and Posters categories.
    - Technical/Art Papers, Music and Posters will undergo peer review by multiple program committee members. Acceptance is based on academic and artistic quality.
    - Paper length
      - Technical/Art Papers: 3-6 pages
    - Papers accepted for Technical Papers and Art Papers will be published in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Asia Digital Art and Design, which is listed on J-Stage (ISSN 2760-0599).

  2. Conference Track Art Paper

    - Conference Track  is organized into Technical Papers, Art Papers, Music and Posters categories.
    - Technical/Art Papers, Music and Posters will undergo peer review by multiple program committee members. Acceptance is based on academic and artistic quality.
    - Paper length
      - Technical/Art Papers: 3-6 pages
    - Papers accepted for Technical Papers and Art Papers will be published in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Asia Digital Art and Design, which is listed on J-Stage (ISSN 2760-0599).

  3. Conference Track Music
    • A live performance on-site is mandatory for Music submissions.
    • Please submit all of the following items. Please check templates on the official webpage.
      • Audio or video recorded works or performances: WAV/MP4 format.
      • Technical rider for performance or fixed media: PDF format.
      • Performance proposal (if applicable): PDF format
      • Program note (for distribution at the venue): TXT format
      • Score (if available, as a reference): PDF format
      • Paper (2–4 pages): PDF format
    • If even one of the above deliverables is missing, there is a possibility of rejection.
  4. Conference Track Poster

    - Conference Track  is organized into Technical Papers, Art Papers, Music and Posters categories.
    - Technical/Art Papers, Music and Posters will undergo peer review by multiple program committee members. Acceptance is based on academic and artistic quality.
    - Paper length
      - Posters: 1-2 pages
    - Papers accepted for Technical Papers and Art Papers will be published in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Asia Digital Art and Design, which is listed on J-Stage (ISSN 2760-0599).
